Workflow Webhooks

Create a secure URL per webhook and let your ERP, PIM, CRM, form tool or any script start a Shopify Flow workflow. Map the incoming payload to the fields your workflow needs, and let the workflow answer the call synchronously when the caller expects a reply.

Install from the Shopify App Store Documentation

What it does

Authentication

No auth for quick tests, a static token or an HMAC signature for production, verified before anything reaches Flow.

Payload mapping

Describe the JSON you expect and pick the fields that become Flow variables, with a test payload to try it.

Synchronous replies

A workflow can send a response back to the caller, so a request can wait for the workflow's answer.

History and retries

Every call is logged with its payload and status. Failed deliveries are retried and visible in the app.

How it works

Start Shopify Flow from any system

1. Create a webhook

Choose a name, the authentication and the fields you expect. The app gives you the URL.

2. Call it

Send a JSON request from your system. The app verifies it and fires the Webhook received trigger in Shopify Flow.

3. Automate

Tag customers, create orders, update metafields or call other apps. A Webhook action can call other systems from the same workflow.
