Workflow Transactional Email

Send transactional email from a Shopify Flow workflow through your own mailbox: your SMTP server, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Design the layout once, insert any Flow variable, attach a PDF from an order metafield and add a unique discount code. The HTTP Request action calls any API from the same workflow.

What it does

Your own sender

Email goes out through the mailbox you connect, so replies land in your inbox and deliverability stays yours.

Branded layouts

Logo, colors, fonts and footer in one layout. Every email step uses it and can add its own blocks.

Attachments and discounts

Attach the file an order or customer metafield points to and create a single-use discount code per email.

HTTP Request action

Call any API from Shopify Flow on every plan, with headers, body templates and the response back in the workflow.

How it works

Branded email and HTTP requests from Shopify Flow

1. Connect a sender

Sign in with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, or enter your SMTP credentials. Send a test email.

2. Add the action in Flow

Pick Send email in the Flow editor, write subject and body with Flow variables and preview the result.

3. Follow the history

Every send and every HTTP request is listed with status, timings and a resend button.
